At the end of each year, Hunter Online selects 3 charitable organisations to whom we donate at least 1% of our pre-tax earnings.
We aim to choose:
- one organisation focused on helping PEOPLE
- one organisation focused on helping THE PLANET
- one organisation focused on improving ANIMAL WELFARE
For 2009 we have chosen:
BICYCLES FOR HUMANITY (B4H)
collects unwanted bicycles for re-distribution in Africa, enabling mobility and providing local training, business and employment opportunities.
Visit the Bicycles for Humanity (Melbourne Chapter) website to find out more.

LANDCARE AUSTRALIA
is a community/government/business partnership of 4,000 locally-based community groups aimed at tackling water and land degradation problems: improving waterways, farmlands, coastal areas and wildlife habitats.
Visit Landcare Australia's website to find out more.

INGRID'S HAVEN
Is a non-profit, "no kill policy" cat shelter in Victoria. The Haven rescues cats and kittens from death row at the pound, addresses their health needs, and looks after them until new homes can be found.
Visit the Ingrid's Haven website to find out more.

In 2008 we chose:
BEYOND BLUE
www.beyondblue.org.au
FOUNDATION FOR NATIONAL PARKS & WILDLIFE
www.fnpw.org.au
WORLD SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS (WSPA)
www.wspa.org.au

Previous recipients include the Peter Mac Institute, the Lort Smith Animal Hospital, Kmart’s Wishing Tree Appeal, and Mission Australia.
Hunter Online invites like-minded individuals and businesses to visit these organisations, review their goals and strategies, and if their priorities align with your own, help in whatever manner you can.
